YELLOW LIGHT!

In buses and other public transportation in Rio de Janeiro, it is easy to notice the wrong way DISRESPECT happens when it comes to seats and people who have a greater need for them. For example, in order not to give their seats away, some people often notice it and simply ignore it or pretend to sleep, among other shameful situations. Today, because of the existing laws Federal Law Number 10.741/2003 and Municipal Law Number 4.584/2007, preferential seats for special needs people exist, but it's important to notice there are too FEW of them. Therefore, through a general analysis, I have the following proposal aiming to improve the situation: to make ALL SEATS in buses in the city of Rio de Janeiro "PREFERENTIAL"; with the word "RESPECT" written on the front top of the seat. And on the back of the seat, also on top the phrase: "GIVE PREFERENCE TO YOUR CONSCIENCE".

Thus, serving as a model awareness campaign, first and foremost! Publicity will be done with videos, photos and/or illustrations, with relevant writing in media outlets in the buses themselves. And also a reinforcement to approve the Municipal Law Project Number 1705/2015 to make all seats preferential. It is also worth noting that this proposal doesn’t include only buses, but transportation in general. It can also be implemented in other places, if there is a belief in its significance. The project proposed and presented here generally equalizes not only the seats, but also each person's thinking! And it strengthens the mind so that RESPECT also happens in a general and hopefully asymptomatic and imperceptible way, according to prevalence of the idea, until it becomes routine.
